Free but useless unless you pay $$$

  • There are currently four Wishpond plugins which fall into the category of “free but useless unless you pay $$$”. Unfortunately, this is one. The products are awesome but the marketing tactics seem so against the way everyone else does it in WPdom.

    Currently a subscription is listed starting at $45/month, but don’t be fooled–that’s the yearly rate. Monthly billed monthly starts at $69.

    That’s correct, the plugin is free, and our monthly prices start at $69/month. We build this plugin to help our merchants run contests and integrate with wordpress.

    We appreciate you agreed that our products are awesome!, we work really hard to provide value to our users.

    We are not trying to fool anyone, our subscription prices are clearly shown on the main page of the plugin.
