    Hi there,

I’m struggling to find a plugin that fits my needs, so I’m trying yours (it’s the 4th…)
I’m working on a Cosplay project and I need users to be able to create their own categories so Categories will be the name of the movies/series/mangas/etc and the tag will be the name of the character they cosplay and add medias of, then I can display them in a list.

Is there a way to freed the category settings?

    Thank you!

    sorry for the late answer.

No this can’t be done with Frontier Post as is.

And you need to think very carefully on how to manage this, as you might end up with a lot of dirty data, due to mispelling, ignorance etc.

You can actually extend Frontier Post to do this with actions and filters, but will require quite a lot of custom coding

Regardless, check out Taxonomies in wordpress, this allows for more domensions than categories and tags.
