Free CMS that allows WordPress import

  • After a brief love affair with WordPress I’ve decided a dedicated CMS would serve my purposes much better – I have a massive number of pages (hundreds in a complex hierarchy) and I’m getting regular errors when I try to create new ones (no, it’s not a htaccess problem, I’ve been through those steps a thousand times).

    This may be a bit optimistic but does anyone know of a CMS that may have some sort of tool to import WordPress data? It would save me an enormous amount of time.

  • I don’t know if there is any tool for that but I am using The CMS from Xoops.org with wordpress as a module for my news section.
    All you would have to do is to install Xoops with the wordpress module and install the database from your actual wordpress to the new wordpress module database.
