    Using the free version (Great plugin / Work by the way,.,.) Interested in the feed-to-post addon…

    Question: Will the feed-to-post addon effect my current settings / feeds, etc., that i already have set up with the free version?.,,

    Or does the feed-to-post addon get “added on” to the core/free version so that none of my current settings/sources are disturbed?..

    (i read through the docs on your site / faq, etc. maybe i missed it… idk) Please let me know / Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

    None of your settings will be disturbed if you install the Feed to Post add-on. However, for using the shortcode as you might be using now, you will have to enable the Legacy Feed Settings.

    Your “However” carries a mixed tone…. Are there any downsides having to enable legacy this way, or is this simply just an extra step that would otherwise not be an issue?

    all good either way as long as it works.. Let me know your thoughts on that when you have a fast few… looking to purchase feed-to-post within 24 hours.

    Hi, my sincere apologies for the wait!

    Using Legacy Feed Items has no downsides. Do note though that you’ll need to be importing as Feed Items from that feed source that will be using the shortcode, meaning you can’t have the same feed items displayed both through the shortcode and as WordPress posts on your site (using Feed to Post).
