Hi @cultivatelearn,
We apologize for any trouble you might’ve run into and any loss of data experienced while using WPForms Lite!
WPForms Lite form submissions are not stored in WordPress and only exist in the notification emails that are sent. If you decide at any point to upgrade to a paid version, you will be able to store and view future entries on your website. We do try to clarify this with the entry page notice in Lite. However, please let me know if you have any suggestions on how we can improve this.
If you’d like to learn more about form notification emails, here’s our tutorial with all the details. In Lite, you’re able to set up one notification email — however, you can send this one notification to as many different email addresses as you’d like.
But, if you are already aware of the notifications and facing an email delivery issue, you can check that your form notification settings are configured correctly by following our tutorial.
If your notification settings are correct, the issue is likely because the emails sent from WordPress are not authenticated (unlike emails sent directly from dedicated email service providers). As a result, they are likely to be filtered by the receiving mail server.
To resolve email delivery issues like this, you can configure an SMTP plugin on your site so that emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.
And if there are any other issues where you’d like more help with using WPForms Lite, please feel welcome to post in our WPForms Lite support forum.
I hope this helps.
Regards!
