Free download only for registered user

    Hello, how are you? could help me find a solution to let only registered users download the downloads through their own woocommerce. I would not like to use other subscription plugins as the goal is to keep it simple.

    Would anyone also know if I can limit the number of user downloads daily to 10?

    All files on my site will be free and only those registered will be able to download the free files.

    Hi there!

    Just to reconfirm that I’m understanding correctly, you only want registered customers to download free downloadable products that you sell on your store?

    If yes, you can disable guest checkout at WP Admin > WooCommerce > Settings > Accounts & Privacy > Guest checkout > Uncheck – Allow customers to place orders without an account, and sell a $0 downloadable product as per the instructions in Digital/Downloadable Product Handling – Documentation.

    Optionally, you can also restrict download without logging-in once you’ve followed the steps above to disable guest checkout: (WP Admin > WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Downloadable products)
