If I want to bundle an entire album should I go this route as well?

I do not believe that add-on supports bundles. It is built by a 3rd party developer so I cannot say for sure.

So if the price is set to 0.00 it will send them to the link/start downloading?

When I click “view download” without adding info to a buy button it simply takes me to a player and plays the download in a player… doesn’t initiate a download or provide a download link….

    When I add this: https://yourdomain.com/?edd_action=add_to_cart&download_id=ID_OF_THE_DOWNLOAD

    (filled in:)
    https://www.longliveevil.com/?edd_action=add_to_cart&download_id=654

    the following occurs:

    Your connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from longliveevil.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

If I take away the s on the http it simply send the user back to our home page.

For purchases I’m not having an issue. Not sure what to put in for the free downloads button.

If the price is 0.00, yes, it will send users directly to the file.

That error message just means your SSL certificate is not working properly. Contact your hosting company and they can assist you.

For the free downloads, you won’t be able to use the custom add to cart link. You need to link directly to the file or use the [purchase_link] short code.

Can you please simplify this for me? I have the music player and the EDD plugin.

What exactly do I need to do to get each track available for a free download? Please give me a step by step so that I don’t have to guess what to put where.

You said link directly to the file? Link it where, which box? In EDD or the music player? Which link? The link given at the file under the media library or something else? Please be specific. I don’t mean to be rude or anything with my request I’ve just spent quite a bit of time trying to figure this out and every time I do what someone says to do it doesn’t work.

I put the cost to 0.00 and it sends the user back to the splash page.

I tried it with both buy now and add to cart.

Please be specific. Which links and put where. Specifically.

I found part of the problem and something you should probably be aware of. When using “quick edit” in HTML5 player (when editing the buttons on the music player) it deletes the id of the song. That was one reason I was having an issue. I used quick edit to do about 3 tracks. 2 of the tracks worked fine and I just realized this is why the other ones didn’t work… Still trying to figure out how to make the freedownloads work.

***Deletes the id of the song within the buy button text field. (for instance there is 3 buttons and you type in the link you wish the button to send you to) When editing that in quick edit mode it automatically deletes the song id when you click update.

I tried leaving everything the same and put the price to 0.00 on EDD – It sends the user to paypal with a price of 0.00.

I’ve tried putting the mp3 link on the buy buttons. It sends the user to a stream of the song with no available download button.

Send me a link to the live page and I can look at it.
