Free for commercial use?

    I have looked in several places but can not find anything related to license use, I wonder if this plugin is free to use in commercial projects (see many themes with it, but nothing regarding the license), I wonder also if there is any significant difference of this plugin for the project on github (https://github.com/ReduxFramework/redux-framework). If I had to choose between the plugin and the framework, what I should choose?

    If I have to buy, I wonder where I can buy, and if it’s free, I wonder if I have to add some credit in particular (like SMOF).

    Very much so. You can use it however you like. GPL means it’s free.

    We do request, however, if you make money off your product to donate to the project and/or buying our REALLY powerful extensions: https://reduxframework.com/extensions

    However, it is up to you. This is open source. Just remember, the more support we get from our developers the more powerful things we can make.

    The difference between the two (Framework and Plugin) would only be that the plugin checks for updates in the wordpress directory? or is there any other difference that I have to take into consideration to make the choice?

    Not really. Redux is the most flexible framework available.

    With embedding you can also use the builder (https://build.reduxframework.com/ to pick and choose the fields you want/need to lighten the footprint for release.

    Taking advantage of the topic…

    I had seen this generator a few days ago, but I could not generate, now that you’ve talked about it again, I tried once more and also I could not, the file always comes with 1 byte (certainly corrupt), what’s wrong? may be a problem with the generator?

    Firefox Version 31 (Pt-Br)

    I test on Chrome now and works… I make other test with Firefox and discovered! The problem is with IDM integration (Internet Download Manager), maybe the problem are on request by IDM, when I make download the IDM open multiple connections, and this probably are corrupting file or are blocked by host.

    Yea, we’ve seen that before. IDM causes problems. It’s not used at all in the US… hah.
