Free gift not removed from cart when rule no longer applies

    Hi!

    I’m having trouble with BOGO discount rules. I have set rules “Buy for 100 – 174.99 EUR and get product X for free, buy for 175 – 249.99 EUR and get product Y for free, and so on. The rules are set only to work when both “subtotal greater than” and “subtotal less than” rules apply. The problem is, that once the gift product is added in the cart, it won’t be automatically deleted when the rule doesn’t apply anymore and another rule applies and another free gift item is added to the cart! As a result the customer gets multiple free gifts instead of just one or the free items turn into full price items and stay in cart, depending on the rule. How can I fix this?

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Just to confirm, if you have created separate rules with subtotal conditions, the free product will be removed when the higher subtotal condition is matched.

    Is it possible to open a support ticket with screenshots of rule setup so that our support engineers can quickly have a check and assist accordingly.
