Free membership site for specific users

    I am running WP-multi-site V3.2.1 with subdirectories.

    I have a group of users who I have had registering on the WP site in anticipation of creating a separate area for them. I already have restricted registrations to particular email domains so any “outsiders” simply cannot register on the site.

    What I want: users who are either currently registered or registered via WP to be able to log in to just one of the subdirectory sites and access content. Further, I want anyone who is NOT registered to not be able to view any content by any means (no sneaking around the side if you know the page address).

    I have been round and round with all the membership plugins but can’t seem to find one that will let my current user base log in to view AND to also hide the content from all other non-registered users.

    Any thoughts?

    oops… a clarification…

    The only site I want to hide from non-registered users is that one subdirectory site. All other content is open and viewable by anyone without registering.
