I just started using this plugin with the Free account to see how it worked. Seems some of the files have been compressed but other are loaded at the larger size. These are jpg files. I have it set to compress to 1 file size. Is there a setting that has to be set to auto compress images at load?
    Appreciate any suggetsions

    Hi @lestexas60,

    Thanks for reaching out!

When you upload an image to your website, WordPress will create different thumbnail versions of it (see?Settings > Media). Depending on the theme, different image versions are shown on the website. If you have set it to only compress 1 of the different versions, then only that single image size on your website will be optimized. Other sizes of that image will not be optimized.

Furthermore, when you install the plugin it is set to automatically compress all newly uploaded images. If you would like to compress your existing media library, you can do so with the bulk optimization tool. For step-by-step instructions, please check out https://help.tinify.com/help/how-to-compress-existing-images-with-plugin.

Hope this helps! If you want more assistance, could you please send us a screenshot of the compression details and the link to your website? You can reach out to us at [email protected].
