Free shipping bug still exists….

I can confirm that it is also the main marketplace module that causes this, not the frontend manager, not the members plugin.

The bug which allows for free shipping.
a county is required for shipping to calculate correctly, otherwise its offers it for free.

– Well, WooCommerce shipping works like this.

First, it shows shipping options from transient but as you will start insert address fields it fetches matched shipping rules for that location and shows. May be your transient has “Free Shipping” saved!

WCFM allows vendors to set their shipping rules, but do not effect WooCommerce shipping cost display process.

We do not won’t to modify this process, that’s why we never integrate any third party shipping API in core.

You may test by deactivate WCFM and keep only WooCommerce, will get same result.

I can confirm you, WCFM “Free Shipping” calculation has no bug, this works perfectly all 4 shipping options.

but, this may break if your “Free Shipping” setting is not right, e.g you have set “Free Shipping Threshold => 0”, then it will always visible. Now, we can not control this!

i havnt set any free shipping…. can somebody just please look at the code.
2 fresh website rebuilds, no other plugins, the problem is recreated.
Disabling wcfm stops the problem.
it is clear there is a problem with wcfm, enabling and disabling makes the problem come and go….
i cant do any more for you, i have lost weeks, done several rebuilds pinpointed the problem as far as i can and now have to switch to Dokan and work all that out.

Switching to another plugin may be for the best.

You are not a customer here, you are an opensource collaborator with the plugin author. They are not a company helping you, they are a volunteer here and do not even owe you are reply.

It’s great that the plugin author is volunteering to help you but set your expectations appropriately and remember they do not have to support you at all.

i see the whole wordpress thing is just a giant fraud with people like you helping devs to put out exploitable plugins and covering for them when they get caught.

The fact that the devs are intentionally ignoring a free shipping bug suggests ulterior motives.

certain black hat forums are going to be informed, its clear that a fix wont happen until people start getting screwed and more people say something.
