free shipping method adds VAT

    Hi,
    My whole site is vat free(except for shipping out side our city).
    I want to make a free shipping on orders higher than 500$.

    After creating the free shipping method and choosing it, the order`s total gets VAT even if the shipping address is the same store city(which is set to 0 vat).

    I cannot find anywhere how to disable this VAT on that specific shipping method.

    We’d like to understand more about your setup. Could you please share the following?

    • A screenshot of your shipping and tax settings: use a tool like https://snipboard.io and paste the generated URL in this thread.
    • Your System Status Report: you can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
