Free shipping not activated with a PPOM field that has a cost

    We offer matching thread with fabrics and free shipping over ￡40. When fabric is added to the basket but it comes in under ￡40, but the matching thread brings it over ￡40, free shipping isn’t activated…

    #1. Does the free shipping apply only for matching thread with fabrics that is over ￡40 or is it the total price?

    #2. What input are you using for the matching thread? If you can provide us with a screenshot that shows your settings, that would be helpful so we can try replicating the issue on our end.

    The free shipping applies when the total order, including the matching thread, is over ￡40.

    The meta for the field is as follows:

    • label: I would like to purchase a matching thread | type: checkbox | options: Yes, | required: no
    • label: Matching Thread Quantity | type: select | options: 1 (2.15), 2 (4.30), 3 (6.45), 4 (8.60), 5 (10.75), 6 (12.90), 7 (15.05), 8 (17.20), 9 (19.35), 10 (21.50), | required: no

    Hi @sagraphics!

    I tried to replicate this on my test instance, but the free shipping option appears as expected for me when the additional options added for the main product exceed the minimum amount for the free shipping. Could you please provide us a screenshot from WooCommerce -> Settings -> Shipping -> Shipping Zone -> Shipping Methods where the condition set for the free shipping can be seen?

    On our website, it seems to calculate the shipping before it applies the cost of the thread field

    We’re sorry for the delay on this thread. A few members of our team tried replicating this problem and we can’t find a way to get the same behavior as you have. Could you make sure that you’re using the latest version of the plugin that could be downloaded here – https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-product-addon/ ?

    Maybe you’re using the old version and that’s what we suspect.
