Free Shipping on Low Value Product

    I’ve got Flexible Shipping setup so that it uses a flat rate but becomes free over a set value in the cart. That works well.

    I now want to sell a low value item that is best sold including shipping.

    Product A Costs ￡5 and free shipping is set when the cart contents go over ￡50.

    I need it to work in the following way:

    If Product A is the only product being purchased then shipping is free.

    If Product A plus any other product is being purchased then the flat rate applies up to the set value of ￡50 when shipping becomes free.

    I’ve searched and googled and tried various things but cannot find a way to do this. Any help gratefully received.

    The scenario you have described is surely possible to configure, however, it requires using Flexible Shipping PRO since the PRO version supports the shipping classes which are essential in this case.
