• I have purchased many pro themes. I have been using wordpress for over 7 years. This seems to be a very sneaky way to sell a theme and advertise for free in the theme repository on wordpress. THIS IS NOT IN THE SPIRIT OF WORDPRESS OPEN SOURCE rules. If you guys are legitimately offering any version of this theme for free, where is the xml file and other needed files to make it work and look like the demo and screenshot?

There’s nothing here that’s not in the spirit of WordPress. This is a free theme but authors can’t help it that the generic theme demo here doesn’t show off the theme’s capabilities. Most themes do not look favorable with the generic demo data.

Have you considered viewing the theme documentation?

That may help you configure your installation. Yes, that link also includes “pro” documentation but it’s their site and that’s fine.

This link is for pro theme documentation only. Where is the documentation for the free theme?

The screen shot should show what the free theme will look like. If the free theme is not able to look like the screen shot without purchasing pro, then its tricking the user, manipulating them.

The free theme does not have any xml file. It can not be configured to resemble ANYTHING NEAR the pro theme without coding it ALL yourself. It is not a true lite version, it has nothing similar to the pro. AND, THE SCREEN SHOT DOES NOT SHOW WHAT THE FREE THEME IS CAPABLE OF.

So, where is the documentation for free theme users that will configure the theme to look just like the screen shot?

This is not a DEMO SITE FOR PRO THEMES. Your comment suggest that you think it is ok to use as such. Free is free. The screen shot has to show what the free theme could like, not what a paid version looks like.
