Free Trial to Free Basic

  • We have a setup as follows:
    Lvl 0 Membership expires
    Lvl 1 Free 10-Day Trial Membership (this gets higher level content than the Free Basic for 10-days)
    Lvl 2 Full Paid Membership

    After the 10-Day trial membership they get dropped to Lvl-0 and no longer have access to anything. Below is what we want to set up.

    I am wanting the following:
    Lvl 0 Membership expires
    Lvl 1 Free Basic Membership
    Lvl 2 Free 10-Day Trial Membership (this gets higher level content than the Free Basic for 10-days)
    Lvl 3 Full Paid Membership

    After the 1-Day trial membership they should get dropped to Lvl-1 which is free basic membership instead of being dropped to Lvl-0.

    I made the membership levels and changed my code to know the trial membership is now Lvl-2 instead of Lvl-1 but how do I make an account to change to Lvl-1 after the EOT date/time instead of Lvl-0?

  • “Stamp” L2 members with a ccap, at purchase time. Then create a function in “/mu-plugins/s2-hacks.php” to find if a member have this ccap and to turn it to L1. That function fire by AJAX hook, which gives you a URL to fire it, actually. The new URL put in “EOT/Deletion Notifications”. It is SO easy! ??
