Free version – can I have a text area field on a simple product?

  • I have the free version. I have created an options group with a text field option. It is associated to my simple product, but it does not show up in the product details page on my site. it should show up before the “Add to Cart” button. What is missing?

    Dear customer,

    be sure that the the field regular price is not empty(0 is a good value too).
    If still not shown be sure that the product is not out of stock or not purchasable/visible.

    It’s working now. Another issue: Is it possible to have just the text field, without having the Options Group, as I’ll have just one add-on field?

    Hi I’m having the same problem on https://greenedinstudios.com/product/outstanding-professional-logo/

    I have created a group, set it to public and added text fields but it doesn’t show up. I have selected in the group for which products it should apply for and still nothing appears.

    They are simple products as well.
