• I was really not happy with the free version of this theme that I got through wordpress **note: the developer says that they’ve fixed all these problems and maybe more that I didnt list below – so give it a try .. but this was some of my experience with the theme:

    – you have to over-ride image sizing to get your images to size correctly if you change their size in the editor, using css you can set a default size for all block images in a page/post, but not individual ones(easily).
    – there doesn’t seem to be a way to remove the side column
    – I can’t find a full-width setting, though the front page seems to do it.
    – No way to change the top image on separate pages, it even remains the same size where most themes would size down the top image on non-home pages.
    – Even when you remove all the widgets from the side-bar in widgets, “archives” and “meta” remain
    – In customize>Site Identity, when you tick “Display Site Title and Tagline”, it doesn’t.

Frankly, I’ve wasted a lot of time trying to get this to work, and I give up. I’m ditching this theme and finding any other.

    Hi Straus

This is not fair to make a review without asking support. Please make theme update sidebar issue and full width issue and approx all issues in update have been resolved.

Look, I’m sorry, but here’s the thing, it’s the version I downloaded yesterday morning through wordpress – and I spent 3 1/2 hours trying to get it to work… and there is only so much time that someone can spend trying to get something to work before you have to give up.
I could have asked for support, waited another day, tried some more … Maybe your update is awesome now! that’s great for anyone else who gets the theme, but the fresh download which I got just yesterday – was either too un-intuitive for me to work (and I’m not a beginner ) – or it just wasn’t fit for purpose. I could have gone in and built a child theme, and edited the php to fix some of those issues.. but should I have to do that? My time is valuable, and I had put aside yesterday only to build a website for a small charity I donate my time to.

I’ve slightly updated the review to indicate you say you’ve fixed all the problems now.
