Free Version of PopupAlly is not GDPR / DSGVO compliant!

Unfortunately, the free version will become unusable on 25th May 2018, because its not GDPR compliant: The support told me, that the nescessary Opt-In checkbox (data processing agreement opt-in) is only available in the paid version. Small blogs and projects like my website have to look for an alternative. As long as the devs do not rethink to comply with the GDPR in the free version, this plugin is no longer recommended for european residents and all small blogs with european targeted audiences. Especially low or non-profit websites that can not spend $100 per year to have a legally required checkbox.
