• Well, it’s 2019 and WordPress still has a very basic media management. I was looking for an upgrade, but the free version of this offers too little things, it’s obvious scope is to be a honeypot for marketing goals, which I consider a very bad business practice.

I would have purchased the Pro version but as far as I read I am not willing to waste time on something that has the potential to eat a lot of hours for a basic thing. Folder management for media.

    Good luck.

PS: Also, something is fishy with the number of reviews. Another plugin, FileBird – WordPress Media Library Folders has 31 reviews while having 20 000+ instalations and this has only 9000 installations but 385 reviews???

The numbers don’t add up, I see nothing here than in FileBird that would be an incentive for this basic plugin to make people adding more reviews per number of users.

@maxfoundry There’s nothing to report here though I will reply to the reviewer about something else.

Really? Even though this is in the review?

You do not have to like or agree with reviews and when you reply that way it just lets other users know something about you.

There are 3 participants in this review. Only one of them should be concerned about a reputation. It’s not me and it’s not a nameless reviewer. Please consider that before replying to a review.

@stefancp This part is just wrong, please refrain from making accusations like that again.

As someone who pretty much reads every review, I can inform you that you’re wrong.

People leave reviews very often because the plugin author, politely and without any offer of anything, ask for reviews. Just asking leads to a huge uptick in reviews. It’s amazingly effective.

Don’t read into the review numbers. It’s meaningless. Read into the review content instead as that’s where the good information is.
