• it only allows you to show filter in all archive pages which is totally useless as most people would want the filter to be applied on a particular page. I saw that it used to be available before but the author probably got greedy and shifted it to a paid version.

Also the plugin is adding a no-index meta tag so that googlebot won’t crawl the pages created by filter. This is done so you must upgrade which is such an unethical way to for someone to make them upgrade.

The plugin doesn’t do the basic thing it’s supposed to do hence I’m giving it 1 star. Hopefully the author consider making an update to make it available to atleast make it useful for the feature it’s supposed to fulfill.

    Hello @m4jor101

    Thank you for your review.

In fact, this regular version of the plugin has never been able to filter on Singular pages, as the plugin was created when WordPress officially did not support displaying Posts loop on such pages. And they could only be displayed using Page builders, which are usually paid.

Therefore, the logic was simple – the Free version of the plugin can filter everything that is displayed by the free version of WordPress. And everything that is displayed with the help of paid versions of Page builders can be filtered with the paid version of Filter Everything PRO.

Since Gutenberg is now actively popularized, which allows you to display Posts loop on Singular pages, we plan to add support for it to the free version. And we would be happy if you could support our initiative with a good review, it would give us more inspiration.

    I hope for your understanding.
    Thank you.

Thanks a lot for clarifying, I would love to see an update for gutenberg as this is the basic filter feature for which people usually download if it’s not functioning as intended. I will update my review once it’s implemented.
