#1 The Events Calendar is not 100% compatible with the Elementor page builder. However, we are all compatible with the native Elementor widgets and the shortcodes for Events Calendar Pro.

#2 It’s worth mentioning that the behaviour is intended. However, you can show the events list with pictures using shortcode, which is only available for premium users – https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-with-the-tribe_events-shortcode/. If you’re already a user, open a ticket here and we’ll be more than glad to assist you further.

You didn’t get my point. I’m using free version, and I would like to add images to the list which is added by the widget short code provided in the free verison. II can make my website work with the free version only so why would I buy the pro version. All I’m asking is how to add a picture to the webpage?

If you want to add an image into your event list widget, you may need to do a template override.

You need to copy this template /plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/v2/widgets/widget-events-list/event.php

to

[your-theme]/tribe/events/v2/widgets/widget-events-list/event.php, and from there, you can add your custom code for your image.

If you decide to give that a try, please note we cannot provide full support for custom implementations like that.
