Free Virtue Theme Homepage Issues

  • Hi I downloaded the free version of the virtue theme by Kadence and have managed to sort out a homepage slider but I can’t figure out how to add the posts section (as it is in the demo)

    I have downloaded the toolkit but it says it is untested with my version of wordpress (4.4.2) I can only see ‘Theme Options’ and whatever I do to change the page/post options I can’t see anything different on the homepage. Am I doing something wrong?

    In fact I just tried to type ‘test’ on the homepage and saw nothing on the preview? I have the page builder plugin and can see the virtue widgets but whatever I put on the edit screen on homepage it doesn’t show..
