Free Vs. Premium? Versions

    Hello:

    I’m interested in Mail Poet–I’m confused–If I download Mail Poet 3, will I be able to send newsletters from my own server? Will I only be able to do that with Premium?

    I have been using the Tribulant Newsletter Plugin for years. I have slightly over 1,000 subscribers.Some subscribers subscribe to more than one newsletter.

    Is the 1,000 subscribers per email address or per newsletter sent?

    Hi there,

    The MailPoet 3 free plugin is available to use for anyone and can be used to send newsletters. However, it is limited to 1,000 subscribers. If you have more than that, you need to purchase the Premium plugin, enabling sending to an unlimited number of subscribers, and it has other premium features.

    When sending your newsletters you can use any method you like. Your web host, Amazon SES, Sendgrid, and so on. In this case, the above applies. Or you can the MailPoet Sending Service which is free for 1,000 subscribers or less. The pricing can be found here.
