    Just a quick note:
If you want to add a comma in your answers in the question box when creating the quiz, replace the comma with ,

This will help correctly display the comma.

Please help out. The quiz is not converting in bulk. It doesn’t go beyond 44 questions out of 200 questions. Thank you.

    Hi Victor,

I saw your post and replied on the forum in ESL Tutor. Anyway, I’ve done a few bulk conversions and they went fine. It’s just vitally important to check for tabbed spaces, especially between questions.

If you’d like, you can send me a copy of the information you place in the text area and I’ll try it out.

    Deon

    Hi deonmfe!

    That’s an excellent idea!

I tried to use the converter. And I purchased LearnDash too!

The converter looks fine. But it can’t read characters used in Portuguese, Frech, German, Spanish, Italian, like á, à, í, ú, é, ?… When I upload the xml file, tham words like café (that’s coffee in portuguese) appears as something like caf%3s%.

How can I resolve this problem? Could this converter be more universal?

    Thanks!

    Hi Danilo

When you use characters like those, you need to substitute them with their escape codes.

You can find the escape codes on the following website: https://www.theukwebdesigncompany.com/articles/entity-escape-characters.php.

    Hi, Deon.

    Many thanks for your help!

It is a very laborious way when you have more than 15,000 questions to enter. But it is better than nothing.

    Best Regards,
    Danilo

Victor, I had the same problem, because I was using quotation marks ( ” ). Try quit them. When I took the quotation marks, the conversion occurred normally.

    Hi,

I am writing form a not-for-profit company. We had 12,000 questions to convert wp-ro-quiz. I am using your ESL Quiz Converter, the system says that quiz is imported successfully but I can’t see the questions. I see the quiz body but not the questions. I am trying your samples.

Your help will be very appreciated.

Do you have spaces in between each line of text, for example:

    THIS IS WRONG

    Single

    Question 1

    1

What is the color of the sea?

    Correct!

    Sorry, that was incorrect.

    Multichoice

    Answers

    1,black

    1,blue

    1,pink

    1,red

    Correct: blue

THIS IS WHAT IT SHOULD BE LIKE TO APPEAR CORRECTLY:

    Single
    Question 1
    1
What is the color of the sea?
    Correct!
    Sorry, that was incorrect.
    Multichoice
    Answers
    1,black
    1,blue
    1,pink
    1,red
    Correct: blue

Only have one break after each question. Hope that helped.

Thanks I already converted more than 12,000 questions and anybody need help: [email address moderated – these forums do not provide support via email]
