Freeze issue: Connection lost. Saving has been disabled until you’re reconnected

Hi all,

I keep getting this error every so often when I try and update a page. It causes WordPress to freeze and the only way out of it is to close my tabs and start up the site again.

Connection lost. Saving has been disabled until you’re reconnected. We’re backing up this post in your browser, just in case.

I’m using Divi, I’ve used the same theme and plugins (which I’ve tried disabling to no avail) on multiple sites all on the same host (GoDaddy) but never had this problem before. The site is also in its early stages and this problem only seems to be happening on this one site.

Does anyone know a simple fix for this, or a reason why it keeps happening?
