Hi @shamiam1980, do you see any errors on the page or in the browser’s console by any chance? if not, or you’re not sure how to check, can you please let us know what other plugins you have installed on the site?

You may use the contact form on our website to keep things private if you’re not comfortable sharing that information here.

We cannot reproduce this issue on our end at the moment but we have seen one other report of a similar issue so we’ll take a closer look at what might be causing this to happen.

The Help & Upgrade pages are treated differently to the main Instagram Feeds list and editor pages, which is why you see those just fine.

Hey @shamiam1980, just checking in to see if you managed to get this to work or not. If not, we’re here to help.

    Having similar problem.

Plugin worked fine last week. Today, Instagram feeds are not displaying. In WP Dashboard, the Instagram Feeds menu choices (except “help” and “upgrade”) just display the “spotlight” logo slowly fading in and out.

Deactivating and reactivating plugin does not resolve the issue.

@masterchef93 it’s best to open a new thread when you have issues like these as the cause for yours may be different, especially since one happened at installation and the other after a few days.

Have you made any changes to the website or hosting setup since this issue started to happen? Even if it’s a plugin update.

Do you have any plugins on your website that disable the WP REST API? We’ve seen this be the cause a few times lately and Spotlight requires the WP REST API to function.

@masterchef93 and @shamiam1980 please try clearing all cache on your end. That’s the browser cache, site cache, hosting cache, DNS cache, etc. We’ve found an issue with our script/style versioning that is the most likely cause for this. It will be fixed in our next update, but for now, clearing your cache will do the trick.

@shamiam1980 as mentioned in another thread… we’ve come across someone else with this issue and what solved it for them was to deactivate all plugins and reactivate them again. Can you test this out on a staging copy of your site by any chance?

There’s a potential reason for this happening and we’re looking into it. Our REST API catches errors in order to not have the plugin crash, and instead report the error to the UI for you and us to be able to see it. We’re working on when this detection occurs in Spotlight so that unrelated errors do not interfere with Spotlight’s interface.

A potential fix is to be released next week, but until then, the deactivation option I mentioned earlier may work for you.

We have released an update, version 0.2.4, with the fix for this issue.

Please try updating and let me know whether it works for you.

If it doesn’t work right away, please try clearing your cache just in case.

@markzahra The update worked and all seems well. Thanks!
