Freezing checkout when changing country

When using the Paypal Plus Plugin with WooCommerce and you are at the checkout-page to fill the billing-address-form, Paypal Plus is selected and then you changing the country in the country-select-field an ajax load began and will not stop anymore. So the page is not usable anymore! Only a page-reload will help but this will delete all entries you have made before…
