    Hi

I have a client where I need to add multiple freight options for products/and or categories.

There are 3 main Categories of products Aluminium Umbrella, Cantilever Umbrella & Timber Umbrella. Each of these have their own freight pricing (they just have a spreadsheet of this) for that type of umbrella as their dimensions are different etc.

They need to send these to different parts of Australia (mainly Capital Cities and various other areas).

Therefore I assume I will need a separate plugin to make life easier. Is there a plugin that allows you to “TICK” certain “Products ” OR certain “Categories” then if that is chosen for eg Aluminium Umbrella is purchased then the system will quote this particular pricing for that destination area (eg Sydney 50km zone around sydney).

I know I can setup various Shipping Zones each for different parts of Australia eg create one called Shipping $80 and add in postcodes for those locations etc.

But there are other products that can be added in cart as additional like umbrella stand, umbrella lock, covers etc that need to be calculated and included also so that Shipping Zone for various states won’t exactly work as it is NOT a flat rate to send.

Rate needs to be depending on weight (or dimensions) in the cart that is chosen by the customer.

We don’t want a plugin like Australia Post but need something that will calculate Shipping Zones chosen based on weight/dimension or what is in the cart. Does that make sense ?

I’ve been googling for hours trying to find a right plugin for this purpose also.
We need to be able to specify and tick these particular products or categories to be included in particular freight zones I think.

I don’t know much about Shipping Classes but have looked into that and can’t see that will help me for my project.

Any suggestions for paid or free plugins would be great. I assume a paid plugin would be better so I have some support once paid also for this particular purpose.

    Thanks in advance

    Regards
    Kristin

    Hi Kristin!

If I’m understanding correctly, you may want to check out the Table Rate Shipping WooCommerce extension. This will let you define those more complex flat-rate shipping rules (rules based on cart weight, classes, etc).

Let me know what you think!
