The .pot file is incomplete

    Thanks for this useful plugin. I have a big problem though. The french .po is incomplete and I spent all the day editing core files. I haven’t yet finished. As I am testing the tool, new english words appear continuously… I think that a complete .pot file should be a priority. Otherwise it will be impossible to update the plugin as all translation modifications will disappear.

    I use String Locator to locate the words but yet it is hard. For example on user’s reputation page (Buddypress) I find the string “answer” that indicates that a vote was given on an answer. You understand that String Locator finds hundreds of words “answer”.

    Are you going to give a priority to the translation problem ? If yes I will help completing the french translation.

    PS I tried to register to your site’s support forum with username Georgio but I haven’t been sent a password. I tried twice to recover a password using email and username; no success…

    I can help occasionally by translating some strings, but I cannot really be an “official” editor, because the french language is verbose and usually the translated strings are long. So I truncate them to meet my needs, but I cannot do that with an official translation. For example, if you have a button with label “Ask”, in french you will have a long button with label “Poser une question”. So I truncated it to just “Question”
    You know, with a verbose language and mobiles in mind (need to save space), I am truncating all the time… But you cannot impose your customizations on others.

    Just for info, I went to glotpress and translated one word to see how it works. When I have time I will contribute some NON CONTROVERSIAL strings…
