French translation

Hi @claudeblet,

translating is done in another way in WordPress at the moment. I had a French translater but unfortunately we never heard from him again, uncompleting the translation.
Translations are now done in https://translate.www.ads-software.com/projects/wp-plugins/name-directory

There are some French translations at this moment, but the person with admin-access for that specific language can only approve them.

If you want to be a contributer, you can do that freely. But if you want to be an approver, I can request access for you. As a plugin author I cannot do that myself, unfortunately.

When the translation is complete and a lot of translation strings are approved, the WordPress update mechanism automatically installs them in your website.

thank you so much! The French translators team that allows access for approving likes to verify you on https://wpfr.net/slack/, is it possible for you to do that? I also signed up myself, maybe they will give me access too so I can approve. Officialy you have to be a native speaker though.
