French WordPress causing conflicts with plugins?

    Quickly, i installed wordpress in french, like i always do and never had problems before. The dev here installed woocommerce and set up everything in french, i told him not to..it had to be in english for woocommerce… but never fixed it. We have a shit loads of plugins on that site… We were told by someone outsourcing that we simply had to switch the wordpress in english because that was causing conflicts to the plugins…
    Never heard of a french wp causing conflicts with plugins? anyone heard of that before?
    Pretty sure its the woocommerce in french thats causing the problems… can it be both?
