Frequent lost password problems in 1.2

  • I’ve put off upgrading to mingus because I’ve seen several reports of people losing their passwords in the upgrade. Does anyone know how likely this is to happen or how to avoid it? If it’s been fixed, is there any chance that a non-password-eating version 1.2.1 might appear in the near future?
    I understand that WP is in development but this seems like a serious bug without a simple workaround for affected users – especially since there’s also no simple method of exporting and restoring WP entries.

  • upgraded 2 blogs did not have a problem here… tsk tsk weird technology.

    I have mingus .. has a nightly cured this ?
    Right now, I dare not log out and I’m hoping my cookies don’t get trashed so I don’t have to do what I did before, so if this is sorted, I’d love to know!
