Fresh 3.1.3, WP trying to upload media to /uploads dir?

  • Fresh install, two sites: domain.com and domain.com/testing
    I tried uploading media to the sub-site testing on page/post. Works fine with correct permissions on wp-content/blogs.dir

    Tried the same with the main site and get the error
    Unable to create directory /var/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/wp-content/uploads/2011/05. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

    Isn’t wp-content/uploads from a few versions back?
