fresh & clean looks different, how do i get a header image and image slider?

I have recently moved the site from wordpress.com to a page hosted by godaddy. I uploaded my original page but things do look different. I am completely clueless when it comes to editing code, but how do I get my new page to look the same as my wordpress.com page?? I am specifically looking for help with getting the header to look the same and the image slider. My original page is sussexblog.wordpress.com and my new page is blogsussex.com. Thank you!!
