Fresh install of 2.0 issues, attach window blank, shortcodes not working

GMSPSH – Are you on a windows-based hosting environment? And/or are you in a local testing/dev environment with the fresh instance? If that’s a fresh install with no plugins, etc, we’d have a hard time understanding why the basics woudn’t work otherwise.

I’m having the same issues. Blank settings page, and now the whole website isn’t loading pages correctly. It broke everything. Worked fine before v2.

Linux environment both for live and dev both hosted.

Let me clarify fresh install, Nextgen was fresh, no upgrade from older version. The site does have a number of plugins. Is there a list of plugins NG has issues with?

Hi – We did start a list of know plugin and theme conflicts. I’d be interested to know if you temporarily deactivate those plugins, whether the problem goes away?

Was waiting to see if there was a quick fix to my issues. I’ll start deactivating plugins to find the issue.

– Google Analytics for WP (v4.3.3)
– Google Page Rank (v1.2)
– Google XML sitemaps (v3.2.9)
– NextGENGallery (v2.0)
– Random Redirect 2 (v1)
– Share This (v7.0.3)
– Smart Youtube (v4.2.0)
– WordPress SEO (v1.4.13)

I hope this issue will be fixed quickly ??

I also deactivated MapPress and I was able to get the Attach to Post popup to work.

I don’t have that plugin and I still had the issue. I had this installed on 3 different sites, all of them had different issues. Some white pages, some couldn’t upload or generate thumbnails and others where none of the links worked.

XGhozt: There’s a strong chance the white pages (and possibly other problems) are conflicts with another plugin. I know it’s a pain to deactivate plugins, but if you feel compelled, try deactivating them one by one to see if you can find the problem. If you do, we’ll add it to the list of known plugin conflicts.

If you go through that and you don’t resolve your issues, then you are welcome to send us your WP and FTP login credentials (for one or all sites) through our bug report form. That goes straight to our tech support and it would help us solve the issues you

I’ve just upgraded my WP version to 3.6 but that did not solve the problem…

I’have disabled CKeditor and enabled TinyMCE, and now i can access to the attach window !!!

(with CKEditor, attach window is empty).
