    Did you check CHANGELOG.md file?

    We have checked our keys after updating the plugin and everything was OK. Did you get any other error message before the Invalid JSON response? After API update you should get more descriptive errors.

    Probably on your server certificates package is outdated. You should ask your admin to update ca-certifcates.

    Woocommerce Freshmail includes “hacked” rest api with switched off curl SSL validation and that’s why it works when their rest_api is loaded.

    What’s more WP Desk uses old rest api (I saw that they did the last update of their plugin in December), that’s why you get old error message (Invalid JSON response).

    I recommend switching off their plugin, in Freshmail for WordPress 2.0 is new integration with Woocommerce (see Checkboxes in plugin menu).

    OK. The problem with the “Connection error – curl error message” has been solved by the administrator hosting and turn off the plugin “WooCommerce Freshmail”
