friends only not working

I have two sites running 3.9 and don’t have this problem.

I suggest you disable all your other plugins, and see if you still have the same problem.

I disabled all plugins except for Friends Only and another that needs to stay activated for the function of my site. The login prompt issue is now fixed – actually, it was before I disabled the plugins, so don’t know what was going on there.

However, I am still not receiving notification emails when users log onto my site. This was not an issue when I updated my blog in late March and was receiving notifications just fine.

The “Notify on successful login” and “Notify on failed login” options are both checked and my email is entered in correctly in Settings. Please let me know what can be done to fix this issue – thank you!

I suspect that the emails are ending up in your spam. Can you check?

I’ve also made a small change to the way the emails are sent from FO (0.7.2), which should reduce the likelihood of emails ending up in spam.

Let me know if that does the trick.

I thought about spam too, but have periodically checked and not seen any Friends Only emails show up there. I just updated my blog this evening, so I’ll keep an eye out in the next day or two for any login notifications coming through and get back to you with an update – thanks!
