Frisco CSS Inconsistent After Update to BP 2.0.1

After updating to BuddyPress 2.0.1 and applying the fix to the bp-custom.php file, mentioned here: https://codex.buddypress.org/themes/bp-default-theme-moving-forward-with-bp-1-9/, the bp-default styles are replacing the Frisco theme styles for sidebar and content divs, the default avatar, and BP navigation menus.
This is occurring on every BP specific page, such as member pages. Non BP specific elements and pages are unaffected, with the exception of the default avatar which is consistently overwritten.
Is there any way to get the Frisco styles back?
