Frisco theme and Buddypress 1.7 update

Still using BP 1.6.4
I’ve read instructions to upgrade to BP 1.7 for those who use BuddyPress Template Pack plugin, which is not the case for frisco theme users.
Is there any special cautions to use upgrading to 1.7 with Frisco theme ?
Any unusual behaviour to expect?
I’m not in a hurry to upgrade currently I’ve a working site.
