One teeny, tiny suggestion? Put something in the about section, or create another page, about how all the files are guaranteed to be virus free, and give a name/contact number or snail mail address or something just for a little more “insurance”

That’s a good idea, I didn’t even think of that. Do you think it would be enough to know that all submissions must pass through GMail’s virus check, or should I add something more?

What about viruses?

While it’s true that documents can carry malicious code in the form of macros, any files that make it on to FritoFace have been scanned by both Gmail’s anti-virus software and me. If a document contains macros, that document will not be uploaded.

Your site is a really cool idea. I’ll add it to my reference list when I teach again in the fall.

One minor issue is that you should limit the number of posts on the main page to 5. And it would be really cool if you could have the posts display like a gallery.

I cut the max number of posts per page to 10. I tried 5 but it looked a little sparse. I agree that a gallery would be a great addition, but I’m not really sure how to implement one (php newbie). If anyone has a link or some instructions on how to make an automated gallery that would be fantastic.

A gallery would definitely be a different way to present these documents. A couple of simple galleries that I have used are Lazy-K gallery at https://plugins.atterberry.net/lazy-k-gallery and ANIGa gallery at https://animalbeach.net/aniga.
