From-address

  • Hi,

    Have using your plugin and its working fine except for the from adress, ie which we want to be same as mail address customer fill into the form. Right now we get our own address as sender address. Is it possible to set this so when we get the mail we simply press reply and we get the customers mail address. Right now we need to forwarded the mail and then copy in the mail address from the form.

    The from address must not be the sender or mail will be blocked like spam.

    The email you receive will appear to be from your site email address, but because the email header “Reply-to” is set as the form user’s email address. You should be able to just hit reply and send email back to the real sender. Also you should see the sender’s email address in the message content. So it is still possible to send mail to that address if the “Reply-to” is somehow ignored by your email program.

    We can see reply-to address in header as well in form but it seems Gmail ignore this when we hit reply. So even Window 10:s built-in email program as well.
