From astra 3.1 main header disappearing on android desktop view

  • Hi there,

    apart from the minor changes that updating from 3.0.2 to 3.1/3.1.1) has involved (some elements styling now are in different customizer locations..) the main issue I’m experimenting is that if I browse my website from mobile (android: chrome, samsung browser) when I switch to desktop view/mode the header is completely lost!..the whole header: logo, menu..
    It reappears turning back on mobile view; even if I run my website on page speed insight, on desktop, the header is gone and the same I’m seeing for all your layouts in your:
    starter template.
    Anyone else seeing that behaviour?

    thanks for quick reply and theme update!

    Just tested now on staging Astra 3.1.2 and Astra pro 3.1 (anyway issue is related only to astra theme from 3.1 update): sadly header disappearing issue still exists.
    Honestly I’ve never had a problem with Astra but I really hope it could be fixed soon because meanwhile I have to rollback to 3.0.3.

    Any suggestion how to fix it or workaround?

    I’m facing the same issue in v3.1.2. When the browser is in desktop mode, the desktop header appears and switches to mobile header then it completely disappears in a split second on page load.

    It also messes up the footer.

    Tablet and Mobile breakpoints load just fine.

    Hi Suman,

    after Astra 3.1 update I’ve opened ticket n: 511883:
    at the beginning it was related other simple issues that I’ve faced updating from 3.0.3 to 3.1, but all of them I’ve solved by myself. On Saturday I’ve discovered the issue related to this thread that is the one I’m not able to solve: I’ve asked here first and then reported also in my ticket.
    I’ve shared login details of my staging environment for debugging.

    I confirm that this issue is valid, and we are working to fix this. We will release a “Hot Fix” to fix the issue soon. I can’t provide you guys with an ETA, but I am expecting it the next week.
