From email address is changed

    We are using WordPress 5.8, WP Mail SMTP version 3.0.3 and WooCommerce 5.5.2
    Email are sending fine through the SMTP plugin (using admin@ GMail account) however we would like to set the “From” email address in WooCommerce > Emails > Settings to be enquiries@ but it is sending using the email address in WP Mail SMTP Settings (admin@).

    We have the property “Force From Email” unchecked so I was hoping it’d use the “From Address” email field in the WooCommerce settings (Email sender options).

    Can you please advise why emails are being sent with the SMTP email address?

    Thanks for reaching out. Gmail does not allow sending emails from other email addresses. However, you can add an alias email for example enquiries@ to your Gmail account, and then the alias will appear in the ‘From Email’ dropdown you can choose from. We have documentation to send emails from Gmail alias.
