From favourite plugin to useless garbage.

I used GADWP for many years (probably more than 6 by my recollection). This was in my list of favourite plugins and would be installed on every site I set up, configured for clients, maintained, etc. It was absolutely indispensable in my arsenal for it’s simple eCommerce setup, logged in user filtering, secure setup, etc. I am now officially giving it a one star, removing it from my favourites, and systematically removing it from my entire workflow and all the sites I maintain.

All of those features I used to use have been completely destroyed or hidden behind a pay-wall. I would have had no problem contributing to or purchasing a license for this product, but now that we need an exactmetrics account, I’m out. Going from being a free plugin to almost $800 for 25 sites or almost $1500 for more sites is extortion. The “free” features are absolutely useless.

The fact that they’re marketing “graphs and reports” that you can view in your Analytics account natively as it’s best feature is ridiculous. This plugin is no more than an expensive extra layer between your own data on Analytics and your website. Save yourself the trouble and stay away.
