Fact 1: Nobody is forced to do anything.
Fact 2: Legacy users who installed the plugin b4 the 6.0.0 was announced get the pro plugin for free
Fact 3: I even guide people who to the old version … you make it sound like I am a evil person who takes stuff away. Yeah its GPL and I even encourage people to do almost whatever they want with it am preserved old versions. So you not need to inform them that its legal to take the plugin from somewhere else like I do not want it.
PS:
I somehow managed to find older version of this plugin laying around, since it’s published under GPL license you can download and use it as pleased from here:
https://github.com/mch0lic/advanced-responsive-video-embedder
Somehow you managed to find some guy who forked my plugin on github. Funny thing is I display a message in the main plugin page the very first link and also on your WordPress Dashboard to the migration guide that links to my official Github where I constantly work on and update my plugin.
If you could please think about look around a little next time. I would be glad if you change your review and don’t make it look like I am some evil person.
If you wanted to do what you and the others think I am doing I would delete all older versions, not guide people to any if them, tell them they “have to buy” the pro version instead of giving them out for free.
