I was editing my index files and I guess I put a new index file in my root folder. After this started getting a line 1 error saying something about <?php get_header(); ?>. Looked up how to fix this and saw to delete the index in root and now I’m getting a Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

  • Delete your .htaccess file in your WordPress root directory and then recreate it manually or delete it and re-upload a blank .htaccess file and let WordPress re-edit it via the WP-Admin CP.
