From name always me

    Hi there,

    Whenever a new submission comes in, the from name (in the email details) is always me (don’t know where it even gets that from).

    But the from name is the form body is correct even though they both use the SAME field which is:

    {field_id=”0″}

    Any idea why this is happening?

    hello. Have you already been able to fix this problem? I seem to have the same problem: destination and recipient are the same, that is, my email in destination and recipient. I have carried out the test from the form with different emails from families and they arrive but their emails do not.

    Thanks for reaching out!

    To troubleshoot the issue, you can check that your form notification settings are correct using our tutorial here.

    If your notification settings are correct, the issue is likely because you set your name in the SMTP plugin on your site. For example, the WP Mail SMTP plugin has this setting, as you can see in the guide here.

    If you disable the “Force From Name” option, then you will receive the form notification with the From Name configured in your form.
