    Hi!
Can I use “Siteground MIGRATOR” to clone a website from my GrowBig plan from temporarydomain.com/subfolder, to my GoGeek plan to newdomain.com/subfolder and to newdomain.com/subfolder2 and newdomain.com/subfolder3?

And from a subfolder to another subfolder inside the same GrowBig plan? Like from domain.com/subfolder1 to domain.com/subfolder2?

(When I say “subfolder” I mean there is a WordPress installation on that subfolder).

    Regards.

    Hi @pautgn,

There is absolutely no problem to use our Migrator plugin for all the kinds of transfers you mentioned.

Still, if you encounter some issues with the setup or the transfer process, you can always create a ticket via your SiteGround account and we will be glad to assist you.

    Thanks!
And If I want to clone the same website to different destinations several times, Will I be able to generate another token, and at the unique original website change the token inside the SG Migrator plugin?

For example: to clone FROM domain.com/subfolder1 to domain.com/subfolder2 and then repeat the process of changing the token to clone the same website to domain.com/subfolder3.

Of course, you can generate as many tokens as you need and use them with the plugin.

    The process is as follows:
    1. Generate the token via the corresponding SiteTools -> WordPress -> Migrator section
    2. Then paste the token within the plugin and initiate the migration

You can repeat the above process for each of the cloned sites.

Thanks! If I want to move from my GrowBig Plan to my Go Geek Plan, they have their own Site Tools. The token must be generated inside the Site Tools of the GoGeek (destination), right?

    (@delyandelov)

Yes, exactly. The destination token is generated within the SiteTools where the site should be migrated to.

I’m testing it, and after the migration is finished, I can’t find any “siteground-migrator.log” inside “wp-content” as I’ve read in some comments. Where Can I find it?

    Hello @pautgn,

The “siteground-migrator.log” is indeed located in the wp-content folder. However, make sure that you are checking the wp-content folder of the source website.

    Regards,
    Vladimir

I was searching for it in the destination folder :S
Now I’ve found it, thank you ??
If it just says “starting, /… updating… / migrating…“ I suppose that it means that all is ok. And in case there are some errors it would show them, right?

    Yes, this is exactly right.
